วิธีการ

1. หากคุณมี The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection (a screenshot ตรามตัวอย่างและทำการค้นหา SP8 หลังจากติดตั้ง UC installation) หรือหากคุณมีแผ่น (ให้ไปดูการติดตั้งจากแผ่น The Sims 2: IKEA Home Stuff disc edition steps below).
2. ทำการก็อปปี้ที่ติดั้งของไฟล์ The Sims 2 IKEA® Home Stuff เข้าไปใน SP8 (ใน UC, หากคุณมี Floder นั้นแล้วให้นำใส่ใน SP ตามเลขที่อยู่ใน Floder )ในกรณีที่ Floder แตกต่างให้เลือกมองหาโฟลเดอร์ TSData .

3. ดาวโหลดไฟล์ 3314070_install.vdf จากหน้าเว็บ
4. ย้านเข้าไปใน Floder  SP8 ตามตำแหน่งเกมที่คุณติดตั้งนำ 3314070_install.vdf เข้าไปใส่
5. Start the game, and you will see Ikea items. Have fun! 🙂

EA/Epic

3. ดาวโหลดไฟล์ ts2_legacy_ikea_stuff.reg จากหน้าเว็บมาทำการเปิดใน Notepad จากนั้นเลือนไปหาตำแหน่ง C:\\Program Files\\EA Games\\The Sims 2 Legacy\\SP8 ตุณต้องเปลี่ยนแปลงที่ตั้งหาก ไม่ได้ติดตั้งไว้ใน Floder drive C \\ ให้เติมตำแหน่งตามที่คุณติดตั้งเกมเอาไว้
4. ทำการย้าน Floder ของ SP8 เข้าไปในที่ตั้งของเกม
5. คลิกสองครั้ง ts2_legacy_ikea_stuff.reg สำหรับการติดตั้งแล้วกด Yes รอดำเนินการจนเสร็จ
6. เล่นเกมได้ทันทีขอให้สนุกt! 🙂

ข้อมูลเพิ่มเติมสำหรับ Legacy Collation

หากระบบแจ้งว่าไม่พบ Ikea collections

ถ้าคุณเริ่มเกมก่อนที่จะเพิ่ม SP8 หรือมีอะไรแปลกๆ เกิดขึ้น คอลเลกชันของอิเกียจะหายไปจากโหมดสร้าง แต่สามารถแก้ไขได้ง่ายๆ!

1. ไปยังe The Sims 2 Legacy Collection\SP8\TSData\Res\UserData\Collections หากมีอยู่แล้วให้เข้าไปใน Floder, เพื่อเช็คไฟล์ต่อไปนี้
2. จะต้องมีไฟล์ – IKEA_Bedroom.package, IKEA_Living_Room.package and IKEA_Stuff.package.
3. ทำการก็อปปี้ไฟล์ฺไปยัง Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2 Legacy\Collections. ถ้ามีไฟล์แล้วให้ข้ามขั้นตอนนี้ได้เลย
4. ทำการเริ่มเกม, และไอเท็มของ Ikea collections จะอยู่ในโหมดสร้าง

หากคุณมี The Sims 2: IKEA Home Stuff disc edition

ให้คุณทำตามขั้นตอนนี้เพื่อบีบไฟล์เข้าไปใน โฟลเดอร์ SP.

1. ใส่แผ่นเข้าเครื่องแล้วทำการสำเนาข้อมูลในรูปแบบไฟล์ .iso format.
2. สร้าง Floder ชื่อ SP8 ในที่ตั้งไฟลเดอร์ เช่นDownloadsและทำการก็อปปี้เข้าไปใน TSData โดนให้เปลี่ยนชื่อ เป็นe compressed.zip โดยดึงข้อมูลจากไฟล์ .iso format ที่สำเนาจากแผ่นแท้
3. ในตอนนี้เมือคุณได้ไฟล์ compressed.zip เรียบร้อยแล้วมำการเย้านไฟล์เข้าไปใน Floder ของ ‘SP8’ ภายต้: CSBin, TSBin และ TSData. หากคุณพบ Floder ชื่อTSData เพียงโพลเดอร์เดียวให้ย้ายเข้าไปในTSDataนั้นได้เลย
4. ในตอนนี้คุณสามารถมองหาไอเท็มดังเดิมในเกมได้ทันที หากมีปัญหาให้กลับไปทำข้อสาม can now follow the original tutorial again, starting from step 3 for your game type.

How To Use

1. You need SP files from The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection (a screenshot where you can find SP8 after UC installation) or, for example, from a CD/DVD (in this case, follow the The Sims 2: IKEA Home Stuff disc edition steps below).
2. Make a copy and rename the directory with SP files from The Sims 2 IKEA® Home Stuff to SP8 (in UC, you already have this SP under this name). In your case, it can have a slightly different name, but it should contain the TSData folder.

3. Download the file 3314070_install.vdf from this repo.
4. Move the SP8 folder to your game location (to the main catalogue where you see similar dirs) and replace your 3314070_install.vdf with mine.
5. Start the game, and you will see Ikea items. Have fun! 🙂

EA/Epic

3. Download the file ts2_legacy_ikea_stuff.reg from this repo. Open it with Notepad/Notepad++ or any other text editor. Change the path C:\\Program Files\\EA Games\\The Sims 2 Legacy\\SP8 to yours where you have the game. Remember to always use \\ after each part of the path!
4. Move the SP8 folder to your game location (to the main catalogue where you see similar dirs).
5. Double-click ts2_legacy_ikea_stuff.reg and click Yes at the prompt to add the keys to your Windows registry.
6. Start the game, and you will see Ikea items. Have fun! 🙂

Additional information

Missing Ikea collections

If you started the game before adding the SP8 or something strange happened, Ikea collections will be missing from the build mode. But this can be fixed easily!

1. Go to the The Sims 2 Legacy Collection\SP8\TSData\Res\UserData\Collections dir, where your game is.
2. Spot three files – IKEA_Bedroom.package, IKEA_Living_Room.package and IKEA_Stuff.package.
3. Then copy them to Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2 Legacy\Collections. If they are there already, you can skip this entire process.
4. Start the game, and you should see Ikea collections in the build mode.

The Sims 2: IKEA Home Stuff disc edition

You must make small file changes if you have a disk version of this SP.

1. Insert the disc edition to your computer or use your backup in the .iso format.
2. Create the SP8 directory somewhere (for example, in Downloads) and copy the TSData folder and the compressed.zip file from the disc/ISO to it.
3. Now, you need to extract the compressed.zip file. After that, you should have three folders in your ‘SP8’ dir: CSBin, TSBin and TSData. You only need the TSData one, but you can copy all of them or remove everything excluding TSData.
4. You can now follow the original tutorial again, starting from step 3 for your game type.
