Better Simology Panel

Filter Your Sims’ Info with New Categories
Right at the bottom of the Simology panel, you’ll now find five filter buttons. Each button helps you quickly jump to different aspects of your Sim’s life:
👤 Personality: Sim’s Traits, Lifestyles, Character Values, Ghost Powers, and Robot Modules.
👍🏻 Preferences: Likes and Dislikes and Relationship Preferences.
🏆 Accomplishments & Growth: Milestones, earned Degrees, and Resolutions.
🌟 Public Standing: Public Image and Faction Reputations (from Batuu…).
☑️ Neighborhood Action Plans: the cursed community NAPs.
Better Simology Panel is now available in all 18 languages, thanks to the help of the community!

Smart Buttons: A Cleaner Look
To keep things neat, this mod is “clever” about which buttons to show.
It’s definitely not perfect, but I wanted to have at least something in place to keep it simpler for those who don’t have all the packs.
- The “Neighborhood Action Plans” button will only appear if you have Eco Lifestyle installed.
- The “Public Standing” (Fame & Faction Rep) button shows up if you own either Get Famous or Journey to Batuu.
- The “Accomplishments & Growth” button is visible if you have Seasons (Resolutions), Growing Together (Milestones), or Discover University (Degrees).
NOTE: Some of the sections aren’t visible all the time, even if you have the specific pack. For example, if you have Seasons but your Sim has no current Resolutions, the button will still be there but clicking it will result in an empty list. That’s just one of the shortcomings of modding, sorry!

How to Use: Tricks and What to Know
There are some useful features in this mod that change or enhance the behavior of the Simology panel:
- Since the buttons are on the bottom, the UI automatically expands upward to show as much information as it can.
- You can still grab and resize the panel – the height will be saved individually for each Sim and stay consistent between categories.
- To reset the saved height and switch back to “automatic mode,” make the panel as short as possible, then click one of the new buttons. The height should now be back to automatic!
- The selected category is also saved per Sim, so if you switch from one Sim to another and back, you’ll return to where you left off.
- You can still collapse the sections you don’t want for an even more condensed summary!

How to Install
Choose only one file from the zip – either the basic version or the one compatible with UI Cheats Extension – and drop it into your Mods folder.
Conflicts
This is a UI mod, so it will conflict with other mods that affect the Simology panel.
UPDATE: I added a new version compatible with UI Cheats Extension by weerbesu.
If you play with UI Cheats Extension, use the “SimMattically_BetterSimologyPanel_withUICheatsExtension.package” file!
Mods are loaded in a specific order, and whichever one loads first takes priority.
Technically, my mod should load first, and both mods will work together.
If my mod isn’t working and you use UI Cheats Extension, try placing my mod in a different folder.
What about UI recolors?
That depends on the creator, but most of the time you can use both the UI recolors and my mod as long as my mod loads first. The visuals might be more or less broken depending on how extensive the UI recolor mod is, but it should still work without any functional issues – just some possible visual inconsistencies!
