The Sims 4: Going North – World Mod
Velkomin! (Welcome) to Sulavík!
This world mod transforms the world of Tartosa into a scenic getaway inspired by the gorgeous volcanic island of Iceland with influences from Greenland. After months of work and several pushbacks I am happy to present to you v.1.0! This is not the final version as there for now only the coastal area is playable. The rural area, the mapview and world icon will be developed with the mapview and icon being released in the upcoming month.
Travel to the cold and arctic glacier town of Sulavík for a romantic getaway, visit the local plaza with its food stalls that will serve you delicious fish. This scenic place is the perfect getaway spot. Plop down some saunas, hot tubs and onsens for the ultimate spa vibe.

Required Packs: My Wedding Stories, Snowy Escape, Businesses & Hobbies, Seasons
Recommended Packs: Eco Lifestyle, Life & Death, Growing Together, Get Together
The mod doesn’t come with new lots, meaning you’ll have to manually remove/replace the lots from Tartosa to get the full experience! The name of the world is still going to appear as “Tartosa”, however there’s tutorials on how to change that manually for each save on YouTube.
INSTALLATION:
1. Download ONE of the versions from down below and open the zip-File.
2. Put the content of the folder called “MODS FOLDER into your mods folder.
3. Open your installation folder of The Sims 4, within the EA app. Usually it’s something like “ C:\Program Files (x86)\EA Games\The Sims 4″
4. Open the folder “DELTA” (that’s very important), then “GP11”, then “Worlds” and then “Areas”
5. Replace the file GP11_Coastal_01 with the one provided in the download.
ON MAC:
Open “Finder”. Look up “The Sims 4”. Right click it to “Show Package Content”. Click “Content”. There you’ll find the DELTA folder.
5. Make a backup of your files in that folder and then place down and replace the old file called
(Impotant Note: With each update for The Sims 4 you will have to repeat this step as this file gets updated and replaced with each update.)
6. Boot up the game and enjoy!
