Insimnia Eats 2.0

This works exactly like the Zoomers Food Delivery Service.
KNOWN ISSUE:
This may or may not happen to you. I don’t know the reason why, it could be a conflicting mod I have..not sure. If you drag the Starbucks drinks out of the Sim’s inventory, they can come out empty. One way to avoid this is by clicking Place in World instead of just dragging. HOWEVER, if you do drag the drink out, the Sim can still drink it and the drink will magically reappear. Weird I know.
HOW TO INSTALL: (MAKE SURE YOU READ 4 and 5)
1. If you use Grannies delivery service, please download the _GranniesORZerosDeliveryREQUIRED file and I assume you already have Littlbowbub’s mod.
2. If you use Zero’s delivery service, please download the _GranniesORZerosDeliveryREQUIRED file and the ZEROS MAIN – ONLY One Required zipped folder.* (I have permission from Zero to repost his mod.) When you download Zero’s mod, you will see that he will also have a MAIN – ONLY One Required folder. Do not use that file from him. Use the one that you downloaded from this post. As you know, Zero’s delivery mod download contains many folders, please note that the rest of Zero’s mod is unchanged and not included here. It is just the MAIN – ONLY One Required folder that I changed.
*If you have Zero’s latest delivery mod, then download the ZeroCottageDeliveriesMAIN247 package instead of the .rar file
3. If you don’t see Starbucks or Mcdonald’s in your delivery, please update the Starbucks recipes (FAST version now available!), and McDonald’s Recipes Part I. McDonald’s Recipes Part 2 is optional, I just fixed the red X that was showing for the chicken nuggets.
4. NOTE: Insimnia Eats does not come with the custom food. You must download the custom food files separately. You must also download the latest version of Insimnia Eats every time a new custom stall/restaurant is uploaded. If you don’t, the new food will not show up in the delivery service.
5. Simply drag and drop the PACKAGE File that you choose directly to your Mods folder and make sure you unzip if you download Zero’s mod.
If you use Grannies, then your folder should look like this:

Added Wendy’s! Updated 7/24/25 – Please see the Common Errors section on this post below and/or the FAQ post if you have any problems. This mod is frequently checked and should have no issues.
So it’s about time that Insimnia Eats gets organized since it was getting a little too cluttered.
Important Notes:
- This will REPLACE the original InsimniaEats_STANDALONE file. Please delete that file before using this. (After this becomes public, the original standalone file will no longer be supported).
- THIS WILL CONFLICT if you use other delivery service mods. The only exception will be SrslySims delivery service.
- If you want to use Grannies or Zero’s delivery service file, please refer to the original post.
- This works the exact same way as Insimnia Eats or the in-game Zoomers Food Delivery Service.
Known Issue:
- The same issue with the Starbucks drink is happening here, where dragging it out of the inventory will “empty” out the drink. However, the drink interaction is still available and the drink comes back after the Sim takes a sip. Please see the original post for more details.
How To Install:
- Simply drag and drop the PACKAGE File directly to your Mods folder.
- You must have the actual recipe files installed so they will appear in the delivery list. They will be tagged under customstall, customrestaurant, and customespressobars on this page.
Common Errors:
1. Using other delivery service mods (there is a version that is compatible with either Grannie’s or Zeros. Please refer to the original post).
2. Not downloading any of the recipe files. Again, Insimnia Eats does not come with the custom food. You must download the custom food files separately (check the how to install for links). For example, if you do not download the Chipotle recipe files, then you will not see it on the delivery service. Only the restaurant/fast food files (Chipotle, McDonald’s) will be available in Insimnia Eats.
3. Not having the most recent version of Insimnia Eats. InsimniaEats2.0 is ONLY updated to add the most recent fast food/restaurant upload.
4. Having several versions of any Insimnia Eats file. Make sure you locate any copies, delete all of them, and leave only the most recent version in your Mods folder.
5. This replaces the original InsimniaEats_STANDALONE file. Please delete that if you have it.
Troubleshooting Guide:
If you are having problems with Insimnia Eats, I suggest removing everything from your Mods folder. Download InsimniaEats2.0, and a customfoodstall/ custom restaurant of your choice.
For example, you have InsimniaEats2.0 and InsimniaRedLobsterPart1. So just those 2 files in your entire Mods folder. Then test.
If it still doesn’t work after that, I suggest just getting the food from the stall or by setting up a restaurant. I always test Insimnia Eats in my own game and I always make sure it works for me before uploading it. We all use different mods so I can really only conclude that there must be something conflicting with it that you have in your Mods folder that I don’t.
